This new domiciliary building will be approximately 22,500 SF and located within a series of campus structures.
The project will house 42 beds of patient lodging in one and two bed rooms organized in two wings. Rooms will have private handicapped accessible baths. Each patient wing includes associated linen rooms and lounges for social gatherings. A connecting wing between one and two level domiciliary buildings features a beautiful two story hub with lounge for visitor meetings. The connecting wing also houses a conferencing location and multiple counseling offices.
Willow Design is providing Architectural services, along with Degenkolb Engineers as the structural and seismic consultant. Marquess & Associates are providing site civil services in conjunction with OBEC Consulting Engineers providing the site survey. Scope of work included landscaping and irrigation design. Otten Landscape Architects are providing a cohesive landscape design. Architectural Cost Consultants is providing the construction estimates as they have worked closely with the VA on this campus the past.
